Of Redwoods and Retreat

I'm heading to Humboldt in a few days. I think a dose of family time and babies and the Redwoods and the "nothing to do" is just what I need. A retreat of sorts. That - and a break from all things electronic. Technology is draining my sense of freedom (and more aptly, free time). I need to fast from emailing.

Baby Jack is Back


The Peanut and Jack came home today. As you may know, Max is smiling because,

1. He loves baby Jack
3. He loves his aunties
4. He loves his new toys

Celebration is necessary.

The Teflon Person

I read this in "Relevant" and it is, well, relevant:

Look for opportunities to be a Teflon person, not a Velcro person. Material possessions stick to Velcro people and never come off. With Teflon people, though, wealth slides off of them and onto others.
